A good theme but some entries are weak. I afraid I will be badly on the fence for this. I love Suchet’s portrayal of Poirot, but I am less than thrilled with this. I love the productions attention to detail and I think the opening credits with their art deco styling and moving score are wonderful perfectly capturing the feel of the time. That was why I bought the CD. That opening music, extended out with its saxophone is a great score.

Obviously, with a selective medley like this, it’s going to be very difficult to please everyone; each fan probably has their own favorite music snippets or themes from individual episodes. More Art Deco Feel Would’ve Been Better The opening theme to the series like that of the Granada series for Sherlock Holmes can be considered iconic. But to me the Patrick Gowers soundtrack is more identifiable with the music of the era. Perhaps because I am more familiar with that series I may be a bit bias.
