Fun little short stories that I can enjoy when I … Fun little short stories that I can enjoy when I have a few minutes. Parker Payne, rather than investigating murders on every corner, is in the business to help people find some happiness in life. I’ve probably read too many murder mysteries so I find these little shorts refreshing. As they are short stories, there are holes in some of them. If you are one to quibble about such things, then this book is probably not something you would enjoy. I just wanted a quick, casual, pleasant read and…

A Different Kind of Detective This one is a fun aside for Agatha Christie. Her “detective” was once a Clerk in an office where he learned about people – what they wanted in life. So he put an ad in about “Are you happy?” He then decides what will help them. Its a fun read because people are interesting.

Agatha Delivers Agatha delivers….I was looking for some short stories to read while waiting for others at the doctor’s office etc. These were just right and of course Agatha Christie is the “master” at plotting. These are not great literature nor will they cause the reader to stop and think weighty thoughts, but if you want a nice solidly written distraction, you’ll love these stories.
