Poirot short stories. The Affair at the Victory Ball The King of Clubs The LeMesurier Inheritance The Cornish Mystery The Adventure of the Clapham Cook Five short stories are featured on this production covering some of the famous Belgian’s assignments when he was becoming established as a private detective. The stories are told through the words of Poirot’s assistant Captain Hastings and encompass a wide range of subjects, but always retaining the essential Poirot hallmark — the use of ‘the little grey cells’. Yet again David Suchet proves himself a master of story-telling, as you would expect from an actor who has become, in the eyes of the public, Hercule Poirot himself.
