Love to hear Joan Hickson’s voice! The only reason I give this 4 stars instead of 5 is the same exact reason I love Joan Hickson’s voice: her voice and speech are so particular to her. Because she has such a quickly identifiable voice, I sometimes find it difficult to follow who is talking while she is reading. She sounds like Miss Marple the whole time and I haven’t yet gotten used to “Miss Marple” reading other people’s lines.
