Agatha Christie was a prolific English author of crime fiction. Christie’s books have sold over 2 billion copies worldwide making her the best-selling novelist in history and over 30 films have been made based off of her work. This collection includes the following: The Mysterious Affair at Styles – Christie’s first novel which also introduced us to the legendary character Hercule Poirot. The action centers around a mystery involving the death of Poirot’s friend Emily Inglethorp. The Secret Adversary – This novel centers around the business venture of two young people named Tommy and Tuppence. Their first job together puts them in a heap of trouble.

Learn from the Pros I wouldn’t try to review material by the great Agatha Christie, but I’d like to say the book served my purposes which were to examine how legendary writers took care of things. My hope is to be a writer and there’s no better way to learn the craft than to read and study how the experts worked their ways onto the pages. If you like Christi, you will enjoy these two samples of her writing. The Mysterious Affair at Styles is a Hercule Poirot novel and The Secret Adversary features Tommy and Tuppence. Both hold the reader and are entertaining.

I love Agatha Christie I love it – but I’ve loved Agatha Christie since I was 13 years old, so I may be a bit biased. Her stories are set in early 20th century England, for the most part, and they tend to feature wealthy people, so if that’s not what you’re looking for, don’t look here. They are, however, great for relaxing with a nice mystery for someone like me.
