The Pale Horse is a fascinating murder mystery by Dame Agatha Christie the grande dame of English murder fiction! I am presently reading all of the Agatha Christie novels. The Pale Horse was published in the 1960s and is a fine murder mystery. The book deals with the murder of a priest who was on his way home from hearing a moribund woman’s dying confession. Another terrific Christie I had never read this particular story but thanks to Amazon’s listings, I was able to obtain a lovely 53 year old copy. Don’t think I can addanything further to the story line as explained by other reviewers, but I will say this was just another excellent Christie. It could be described as somewhat spooky and a definite page turner. I loved it, and would absolutely recommend adding this to your must read list.
